Excerpt from Perfidy, The Debacle Series Book One

Noah touched his wristband, and the call connected. But it went straight to voice mail. “Let’s go to the neighbor’s house once the spaceship disappears.”

Stepping aside from me, he gazed out the window. “They’re still hovering over the lake. I see lights from the spaceship.”

“Noah, the aliens are intercepting our calls. They are clever. They didn’t help us rebuild our planet for nothing. And a creepy voice called out my name tonight. Are they still able to remember me from three years ago?”

He nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He had contact with the aliens, but never shared his experience with me. Yet I shared my disgust and fears with Noah.

What was the world like for Carmen and Noah after the spaceship touched down? Did they fear for their own safety or concern themselves more with their young men? The aliens had a purpose for their visit, one they would not abandon until their mission was accomplished. To discover what that mission entailed, you’ll need to read the book.
