And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God.” (Revelation 15:2, NIV)

Water represents the purification of the body and soul. It becomes a symbol for the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit and blessing. We seek the purified water for the thirsty individual who wants to know Yeshua, not as the mortal God-Man who died on the cross; but as the true Messiah Yeshua, who died as our advocate for all mankind. Yeshua is the only one who could have died for our sins. He desired a mortal man to have descendants that would worship and honor Him as the Creator of the Universe. God wanted to experience our pain of sin in our mortal bodies; Yeshua stepped forth and became the proportion of sin, yet did not sin, to obtain an accurate picture of our suffering in sin.

Isaiah 44:3 speaks of the “Living water” that continually moves in the earth and will be poured out on the offspring of mankind who accept God’s blessings. By the baptism into the water of the earth, these bodies must be purified by God, as Yeshua was baptized by His cousin John the Baptist. The stagnant water found in a pond, river, or spring cannot cleanse a lackluster Soul. Your soul must be vibrant and ready to receive the Word of God, without conditions and misconceptions. We must be transported and cleansed by God, ready to receive the gift of eternal life, which accepts an everlasting, immortal Soul.

As we prepare for a new year with anticipation and faith in Jesus the coming Messiah, we must change our hearts and listen to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit speaking. The Holy Spirit speaks to us as Christian moment by moment and if we just stop and take a breath and listen we will hear Him speak.

A new year means new accomplishment and goals. This year make sure to put Jesus (Yeshua) first in our lives and read the Bible. It takes 15 minutes a day to read the entire Bible in a year. Make it your goal to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ (Messiah) and see your life be enriched with love of Father God.
