The Unseen Forces Around Us
A foreboding presence lurked nearby. I couldn’t say I liked the times I sensed danger. However, my senses became more acute when I felt otherworldly energy. It penetrated every fiber of my being, creating a powerful sensation. Then, a harsh grinding and banging sound echoed in the twilight.
“Get a grip,” I spoke out loud.
“What? What was that sound?” Noah’s head jerked up, and he tilted to acknowledge my outburst.
Have you ever encountered something unusual but chose not to speak up, worried that others might think you’re insane? Imagine what the protagonist, Carmen, thought when she heard those strange noises yet had to remain quiet. Her fear of the unknown aliens reminded her of their recent encounter with them. Their scaly skin, large bodies, and booming voices cast fear into her heart.

As mortals, we often fear Almighty God. When He speaks, we suddenly remember we are “grasshoppers” in Father God’s eyes. Recently, thunder shook our home so hard that I stopped what I was doing to acknowledge the power of our Most High God.
The Power of Awe
In moments like these, I find myself reflecting on the awe-inspiring nature of God. It’s easy to get lost in our daily routines, forgetting the vastness of His power. Yet, when we pause and listen, we can feel His presence. It’s a reminder that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
Consider the times when you’ve felt a chill run down your spine. Was it fear, or was it something else? Perhaps it was a divine nudge, urging you to pay attention. In our busy lives, we often overlook these moments. But they are significant. They connect us to our Creator and remind us of His omnipotence.
The Coming of the Messiah
Remember that Jesus, the coming Messiah, will return. When He does, He will not be the meek, mild baby Jesus people often portray. He will come as a mighty force, ready to judge the wicked. Today, make sure to repent and seek Jesus while you can.
Proverbs 29:2 states, “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice. But when a wicked man rules, people groan.” This verse resonates deeply in our current times. It serves as a reminder to align ourselves with righteousness.
The Journey of Faith
Faith is a journey, not a destination. It ebbs and flows, much like the tides. There are moments of clarity, where everything seems to align perfectly. Then, there are times of confusion and doubt. During these times, we often find ourselves questioning our beliefs and the world around us.
But isn’t that part of the beauty of faith? It invites us to explore, to ask questions, and to seek answers. I often find myself pondering the mysteries of life and the universe. How do they intertwine with our faith?
Embracing the Unknown
When we face the unknown, it can be daunting. Yet, embracing uncertainty can lead to profound growth. Just as Carmen faced her fears, we too must confront the things that scare us. It’s in those moments of vulnerability that we often find strength.
I encourage you to reflect on your own experiences. Have you faced something that made you question your faith? How did you respond? These moments can serve as catalysts for deeper understanding and connection to God.
The Call to Action
As we navigate through life, let us remember to remain vigilant. The world is filled with distractions and challenges. Yet, we are called to be lights in the darkness. Share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around you.
Let your actions reflect your faith. Whether through kindness, compassion, or simply being present for someone in need, every small act counts.

In conclusion, let us not shy away from the unknown. Instead, let us embrace it with open hearts and minds. Together, we can journey through the mysteries of life, guided by faith and the promise of our Savior.
