“Sophia, I’m deep into this mess. As I told you in the restaurant, the former mayor died an hour after the implant. He swam in the ocean, a sharp pain stabbed his chest, and he drowned. The autopsy report said drowning, but an independent report days later nullified the report—someone tampered with his microchip, whereby if the chip submerged in water, then electrocution. Two days before the insertion, the micro center had a burglary with non-working security cameras—the murder of the former mayor and the lab break connected. If you go into the water, I recommend taking someone with you. Wear rubber boots when you decide to venture to the shore. Do you have an implant?”

“Why are you so concerned with my welfare? No, I don’t have an implant. I live in Israel. We use ID cards with chips. Are you crazy? The chips represent the Antichrist.”

“I, not the former mayor, did the research. Doctor, I am responsible, and I promise you. I did not know the evil intent of the oil company until I read the reports. A month after the murder, a group of men visited me and claimed they could ruin our town. Let’s get an ID before you venture to the beach. The company installed an invisible fence. It registers your chip when you pass the seawall. Without the microchip, the electrical current will electrocute you.”
