His footprint on the internet was minimal. Her instincts kicked in, and from her security team, he was a CIA agent, and that bit of information scared her. This well-built man was not ordinary. He didn’t tell her he was an agent. But why? She mused.

Tears fell as she remembered her ordeal in Caro on the archeological dig. She rushed to close her laptop, ran to her bedroom, locked the door, collapsed on the bed, and fell asleep.
