Excerpt from Perfidy

The swirling spiral yanked me inside, and I gawked and struggled to gain my breath. A surge of electricity coursed through my hands and body, enveloping me with thrill and apprehension. The surrounding air was alive with energy, compelling me deeper into the twisting vortex.

When I stepped through the fractured entryway, it wrapped me in a vibrant whirlwind of colors. A whole new world stretched out before me, unfamiliar and strange. Panic surged through me as I goggled at the swirling lights and wispy mist pulsating with an unsettling energy. My heart raced as the gravitational energy lugged me further into the spinning vortex. My mind struggled to handle the incredible speed at which I was hurtling forward, leaving me gasping for air in awe of the sheer force propelling me ahead.

Suddenly, Carmen was transported into a shadowy, eerie realm—an environment that would change her life forever. As she ventured deeper into this mysterious vortex, a place shrouded in uncertainty, her senses became heightened and hypersensitive. Fear gripped her, sharpening each perception and causing her heartbeat to race as she faced the unknown ahead.

Often, we rush headlong into situations that can bring us joy, heartbreak, or deep remorse. Soon, the world will witness a supernatural occurrence that will instill fear across the entire planet. The return of Jesus Christ and the fate of those who have turned away from Him will invoke terror over their eternal destinies. Conversely, those who have surrendered their lives to the Messiah Jesus will enjoy everlasting life in the presence of the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
