Overwhelmed by a moment of grief, Mom’s memories consume my spirit. Mom’s wisdom and guidance were necessary for me to navigate these mysterious paths. But her absence left me feeling vulnerable, devastated with despair, and lost.

My eyes fixed on the arch. Time froze, and the moment felt profound. It made me wonder if my mother had ever experienced a similar sensation or encountered a celestial entity clothed in glorious white attire.

Her chilling reminder remained with me, and I couldn’t forget her words:

“Evil demons often enter a passageway intending to provoke trouble for saints blessed with God’s supernatural strength.”

Rod Serling was a visionary, crafting an impressive array of episodes for “The Twilight Zone” that could send chills down your spine with their suspenseful cliffhangers. His narratives, while terrifying, exhibit a striking resemblance to contemporary science fiction films. The primary distinction lies in our modern use of color, whereas those classic tales were in black and white. The peculiarities and fears we encounter in today’s world echo many themes found in the Bible. The scriptures reveal many layers, particularly when recounting the extraordinary events involving figures like Moses and the parting of the Red Sea or Abraham’s encounter with the three angels. If we focus on the unseen presence of the invisible God, we may be inspired to witness even more miraculous occurrences in the future.
